He is currently working as a Specialist Scientist responsible for Climate Change Analysis at the Department of Water and Sanitation, and the Chairperson of the Adaptation Network Steering Committee. He worked in Parliament of the Republic of South Africa as a Committee Researcher for the Select Committee on Land Reform, Environment, Mineral Resources and Energy; Lead Scientist for Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation at the South African Weather Services and before that Precision Agriculture Research at the Limpopo Department of Agriculture and Rural Development
